Fees

Our fee applies to all plans from a basic 1 bedroom flat to a two storey 4 bedroom house.

In the event you have a larger property please email or fax us a sketch or total sq ft or metres and we will provide by return a fixed price quotation.

One straight and simple flat rate fee of £20.00 per plan.

Including:

  1. Dimensions in imperial and metric.
  2. North Pointer.
  3. Colour floor plans.
  4. Forwarded in WMF and JPG formats.

WMF best for printing - JPG standard web format. GIF and PNG available if required please advise if you require these formats.

  3. Complete our information required sheet.
  4. On receipt we will acknowledge by return, along with informing you of any clarification we may require to commence the floor plan.

Please note we prepare our floor plans for the sole purpose of the illustration of the arrangement of rooms and general layout and dimensions. Some elements of our plans may be simplified with unnecessary detail omitted. Whilst we endeavour to give a fair impression of the property, we are naturally constrained by the information and detail which you provide to us.

When the plan is complete we will email your plan direct to you. On receipt please check and in the event you have any alterations to make or any errors are found, please inform us by marking on the plan and email back to us to amend accordingly.

Information to include with your sketch:

  1. If a plan already exists check this plan and mark any alterations or additions. Check doorways and windows are in the same positions, any alterations to internal walls, kitchen layouts etc.
  2. Room Dimensions: Face the wall you are sketching and write down the dimension on the sketch parallel to the wall.
  3. Sketch should clearly show the individual room sizes and overall shape including hallways, cloakrooms, bathrooms, etc.
  4. Windows and doors shown clearly and their positions relevant to the wall.
  5. Doors showing which way opening.
  6. Any unusual feature or features e.g. fireplaces, skylights, etc.
  7. Bathroom and kitchen layouts showing kitchen sink position and any other features you may wish to be included.
  8. If a room is an unusual shape please indicate on the sketch which surfaces the measurements were taken from. In the event there is a kink or a skew wall. If measurements are taken between the nonparallel walls we can make a good estimate of the angle.
  9. When measuring in bedrooms with fully fitted wardrobes / units, please measure to the back of the wardrobe with the door open.
  10. Include a pointer to north if you require this on the finished plan - no charge.
  11. Any other relevant information or text you would like included on the plan.
